Every night I always think about what we are going to do for the next day. How do I keep them occupied? How do I keep them from being too bored for a long time? Don’t get me wrong, being bored is actually healthy as they can unleash their imagination but too much boredom makes them really cranky, moody and annoying. Not to mention the stress it brings me.

Today, the creche is full so I wasn’t able to go to the gym with these cuties so I decided we’d go for a long walk to the furthest park we can. They are both early risers so by 7:30am, we already head out. One block away, we had to go back because there were lots of flies around our faces already so we had to get a fly repellant. While walking, I checked the weather and sadly by 9am it will already be 30 degrees and if we go further by the time we get home, it will be really hot for the two of them and they will be cranky!

And so I decided to just go to the park a kilometre away from us and there we went, Gideon played for a little bit in the playground while I was taking photos of Aneisha but 30 minutes later, he’s already bored so off we go.

We then walked for another kilometre choosing roads that are uphill because I’m trying to challenge myself haha! So by 9:30am we are already home.

11am and Gideon was so bored already so even though Aneisha is really cranky, I decided we’ll play outside with the water and slides. Erika invited me to the beach but I didn’t think I can survive as I’m a bit stressed about Aneisha. And so we went outside.

But 5 minutes later, Gideon is already telling me it’s too hot, it’s too cold, he’s scared, so many reasons and he became cranky so went inside again. Yes, we went inside after all of my effort bringing bouncer for Aneisha and all that.

So we went inside again and there they both started acting out, crying together like seriously, sometimes I just don’t know what to do. I keep thinking what should I do to calm them both so I gave Gideon, Earl’s good ol’ iPhone 5 to watch Youtube! He then calmed down but the little one? Not so much.

Aneisha used to nap a lot in the afternoon but she’s not herself today so we waited until Earl’s home, ate dinner and went to Noranda Playground. There, Gideon enjoyed so much that we stayed until almost 8pm.

And tonight, I’m thinking about what to do again for tomorrow? Any suggestions? I’m kinda running out of ideas here. It’s just difficult when you have two, other one’s a toddler and the other one’s an infant. My choices are really limited.

Anyway, thanks for your time!
